とうもろこしの作柄は長引く乾燥により悪化の一途（アルゼンチン）
Corn conditions continues to deteriorate due to dryness in Argentina.
米国農務省（USDA）によれば、2017/18年度のアルゼンチンとうもろこしの生産量は36百万トンと、前月から3.0百万トン下方修正され、前年度を12.2％下回る見込みです。
収穫面積は5.2百万ヘクタールと、前年度を６％上回るものの、単収は6.92トン/ヘクタールと、前月から0.58トン/ヘクタール下方修正され、前年度を17.3％下回る見込みとなっています。
アルゼンチンのとうもろこしは、早植え種、遅植え種共に高温乾燥型の天候により壊滅的な影響を受けており、ブエノスアイレス穀物取引所によれば、2月28日現在、早植え種の作柄評価は、良/やや良が9.0％、並みが23.1％、不良/やや不良が67.9％、遅植え種の作柄評価は、良/やや良が1.9％、並みが13.0％、不良/やや不良が85.2％となっています。

According to USDA, Argentina corn production for 2017/18 is forecast to 36 million metric tons, down 3.0 million tons from last month and 12.2 percent from last year.
Although the harvested area is estimated at 5.2 million hectares, 6 percent higher than last season, the yield forecast of 6.92 tons per hectare is 0.58 tons per hectare below last month’s yield and 17.3 percent lower than last year.
Argentina corn, both early and late planted crops, has been catastrophically affected by heat and dryness.
According to Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, as of 28th February 2018, about the conditions for early planted crops, excellent/good is 9.0%, fair is 23.1%, poor/very poor is 67.9%. About the conditions for late planted crops, excellent/good is 1.9%, fair is 13.0%, poor/very poor is 85.2%.
