豪州の小麦輸出は、中長期的に上昇する見通し
Volume of Australian wheat exports is projected to rise over the medium term.
豪州農業資源経済科学局（ABARES）によれば、2018/19年度の豪州からの小麦輸出量は、前年度を３.2％下回る16.3百万トンとなる見込みです。
しかし、中期的には、生産量が増加し、アジアの輸入需要増加が見込まれることから、輸出量は、2022/23年度にかけて上昇傾向で推移する見通しです。
本日の写真は、2月末に、2018/19年度の播種に向けて、トラクターで圃場整備をしている様子です。
豪州の小麦は、例年４～６月に播種され、10～12月に収穫されます。

According to the report released by ABARES, wheat exports are forecast to fall by 3.2 % to 16.3 million tonnes in 2018/19, but rise over the medium term, each year to 2022-23, in response to higher domestic production and increased import demand from Asia.
Today’s photo shows a grower is using a tractor and piece of machinery to prepare his soil in order to plant 2018/19 seeds in the end of February 2018.
In Australia, wheat is usually sown during April and June, harvested during October and December.
